There are lots of things for me to learn as a Mommy. This isn't his first cut, but it is the first one that I insisted that Ty was home to help me with. So I am learning but it still looks pretty funny. Poor little man. Glad he doesn't care yet. I have a few years to practice before he starts caring! Wish me luck!

Don't worry - I have had my share of botched haircuts for sure. It doesn't take long to grow and fix whatever went wrong!
You will get the hang of it, I have gotten to the point where I can do it with my eyes closed!
I struggle with boy's cuts too. I'm not a big fan of the "buzz cut", but that's the easiest for sure. We usually require a disney movie, at least one sucker and lots of cries and wiggling before the job is complete. And, as Jaimee said...hair grows!

I dug up a time capsule at the reunion, it was full of water. I am trying to dry stuff out to see if I can save anything. bummer
Hi, this is Christy 'Newman' Hodges, I was a friend of Tyson's in high school and I ran into your blog off of the Hegtroms, I hope you don't mind! You have an adorable little boy! We have two little girls so I haven't experienced hair cutting a whole lot yet, but I think you did a good job! :) Well, I just wanted to say hi. Hope everything is going great for you guys!
